BB4W on Mac

I'm using BB4W SDLIDE version 0.16e on my iMac with OS version Sierra 10.12.3.
When I enter IMMEDIATE Mode, everything I try returns the error "Mistake." Even stuff like PRINT 2*2. I also have a Windows machine, and the IMMEDIATE Mode works fine on that. Am I doing something wrong here?
