xx Search and Replace
« Thread started on: Mar 23rd, 2009, 09:05am »

I noticed that while trying to use search and replace on a large file (WINCONST.BBC, try replacing all the = with a space) the IDE can crash. Could anyone else confirm this?

Also, be wary that using search and replace with digits will effect line numbering if present.

Replacing every = with a space in WINCONST.BBC doesn't crash here (v5.90a, WinXP). If it's reproducible on your PC, please email me the resulting DrWatson log file (you'll want to empty the file first, so you don't send the logs of every previous crash as well!).

I have re-run the original search and replace five times with no crashes. I did have about 6 IDE's open at the time and memory may have been low which may explain the oddity.

Sorry for a false alarm.
